The Regulatory Risk Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.


  • Perform monthly business monitoring and statistical analysis of the Basel results for Citi Private Bank (CPB) portfolio.
  • Prepare quarterly Basel parameter statistical analysis and review with CPB Business and Risk.
  • Perform CECL calculations for Delinquency Managed portfolios.
  • Performs business analysis of the CECL change drivers for the classifiably and delinquency managed portfolios. Perform statistical studies to identify scenario vs portfolio change impact on the CECL reserve.
  • Help team to respond to regulatory, audit and business questions and provide portfolio insights. Prepare statistical analysis to support these responses to the inquiries.
  • Perform IFRS9 calculations for a monthly submission and do statistical investigations to categorize drivers of the change period over period.
  • Keep documentation related to CECL and IFRS9 up to date.
  • Work on the portfolio analysis (back testing, sensitivity analysis and etc.) required by Model Risk Management process.
  • Help team with CCAR 14A submissions.
  • Help team to manage operational risk as it relates to processes/tasks performed by the team. Perform Quarterly Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) review of teams entries into the GRC.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


  • 3-5 years of experience in risk management framework.
  • Very good analytical, mathematical, statistical and problem solving skills, ability to identify trends.
  • Advanced user of SAS and Microsoft Excel. Skilled user PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Must be able to document procedures and process flows.
  • Successful candidates will be self-motivated and capable of independently driving results while effectively prioritizing responsibilities and multi-tasking
  • Prospective hires should be highly attentive to details, while being able to work under pressure and deliver timely and accurate results
  • Effective communication and writing skills.
  • Candidate must be able to work as part of a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.
  • Demonstrate integrity
  • Demonstrate an ability to adapt to an evolving environment and responsibilities.


  • Bachelors/University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, Masters degree preferred
