Senior Product Manager (Tech) - Trade and Product Compliance

Do you want to build a new AWS platform that impacts every service we offer? AWS Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC) ensures that Amazon complies with product, import, export, and other requirements worldwide. In this role, you will own the product vision for our compliance system. You€™ll work with experts in each compliance field to understand their unique needs, and partner with them to reinvent the critical functions they perform to scale using AWS services. Key capabilities include applying complex, frequently-updated rules; integrating terms and event data with financial and asset tracking systems; forecasting activity levels, and generating customs documentation.

As a Senior Product Manager €“ Tech, you€™ll be responsible for defining customer needs using product artifacts such as personas and user stories; defining and prioritizing individual features; and implementing mechanisms for continuous customer feedback.

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of experience in product management, compliance, business development or technology


· Experience building systems for regulation, product compliance, import, export, or similar functions
· Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience working directly with Engineers and UX designers in an Agile development environment.
· Experience working cross-functionally with end users, design, and software development teams.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever-changing environment.
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
