Senior Product Manager - Global Credit

Do you want to help drive innovations in the financial services sector? The Amazon Payment Products team needs an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive a roadmap of new product features and capabilities with a significant and measurable impact on the bottom line and customer experience, create additional internal and external business opportunities, and further deepen the integration of our products within Amazon.com and with our external bank partner.

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and strong in all of the following areas:
· Product management and development, including analyzing customer behavior, analyzing competitors€™ offerings and the industry landscape to enhance our product offering and customer experience
· Project management, including creating business justifications and functional requirements for product and site features
· Business management, including creating business strategy and managing program metrics
This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on product development status, risks, financial and operational program metrics. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.


· Bachelors Degree or equivalent related work experience
· Fluent written and verbal skills in English


· 10 or more years of relevant work experience in digital/online projects and the financial services industry, preferably in the credit card space.
· Proven success in defining, building, and releasing software-based offerings that drive customer ROI
· Strong consensus- and relationship-building skills, with experience organizing resources across an organization
· A creative and analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment
· MBA from top business school
· Several years of direct P&L ownership
· Demonstrated ability to influence across a large, multi-faceted organization
· General manager/owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive
· Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
· Experience creating product specifications, performing competitive analysis, and/or market research
· Experience working directly with software engineering teams with agile/Scrum software development
· Experience managing a product backlog and leading a team to meet aggressive goals
· Experience in and comfort collaborating with user experience teams and with formal customer research
· Strong time-management and project management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
