Responsible for the analysis, strategy development, and ongoing performance tracking of credit card risk management strategies associated with exposure management of existing customers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving, research, and communication skills. Expectation is to work independently and in team settings on analytic projects to achieve balance of risk mitigation and growth to achieve business objectives. This role may include, but not limited to analysis on proactive (bank-initiated) & customer requested line increases, proactive line decreases, product reissue, proactive closure, and customer requested reopen strategies. The role will regularly interact with business partners within risk management team, marketing, finance, compliance, and second line functions. SAS & SQL will be used extensively to obtain and analyze data with the outcome of communicating current state strategy performance and recommend improvements and impacts. **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of applicable experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Financial services experience in credit card product, risk management preferable - Proficient in programming and data manipulation using SAS. SQL programming and understanding of data management and storage in Unix/Oracle environment necessary. Experience in SAS Enterprise Miner is a plus. - Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business - Considerable understanding of the business lines operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls - Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies - Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills - Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs - Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations - Applicable professional certifications preferred **Job:** Risk/Compliance/QC/Audit/Fraud **Primary Location:** Pennsylvania-PA-Horsham **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 200013677 **Other Locations:** New Jersey-NJ-Home-based, Pennsylvania-PA-Home-based, Delaware-DE-Home-based U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
