During your tenure as an Accounting Assistant Manager in Finance, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

    \t
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling and resolving discrepancies.
  • \t
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • \t
  • Assist with completion of the quarterly and annual regulatory filings
  • \t
  • Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures and complying with different requirements
  • \t
  • Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information
  • \t
  • Compile and analyze financial information to participate in the preparation of financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
  • \t
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • \t
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • \t
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • \t
  • Ensure appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • \t
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in transactions
  • \t
  • Ensure consistency in processes and procedures across entities and functions
  • \t
  • Responsible for making timely and accurate accounting entries
  • \t
  • Carry out statistical analysis and produce reports as required

Qualifications:

    \t
  • Accounting degree or equivalent
  • \t
  • 6-8 years of experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice
  • \t
  • Experience in software development and specific experience in the Dynamics 365 platform is required
  • \t
  • Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and appreciation for the risks in applying and financial reporting implications of IFRSKnowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
  • \t
  • Knowledge of economic principles
  • \t
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
  • \t
  • Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
  • \t
  • CPA is a plus
